Kumquat
K for Kumquat
The kumquat, a small citrus fruit (the smallest!) that's totally edible because it's eaten with the skin. It looks like a mini orange. Its name means "golden orange", and the kumquat offers a wealth of culinary possibilities.
Its tangy flesh works wonders in both savory and sweet dishes, to which it adds a deliciously sweet-and-sour touch.
The kumquat is distinguished by :
- its texture, since it is eaten whole: skin and pulp
- its oval shape and orange color
- fresh, tangy taste
Organic, Beautiful and Good

Harvesting is entirely manual. It takes place from December to March.
Not only is it low in calories, it's also an excellent source of vitamins C and B9, fiber, minerals, trace elements and antioxidants.
