A year in the life of Pomelo
Flowering
It's wonderfully beautiful and totally intoxicating? And yes, it's flowering! It's a crucial time: as they gather pollen, bees help to pollinate the plants.
Vegetative development
Qui va piano, va sano, va lontano! It takes a long time for my pomelo to become big and have beautiful orange-yellow colours. In Puntimoso, I ripen on my tree!
Harvest
From January to June, the pickers look after me and my mates. 6 months of harvesting and we're on top form! My word as a pomelo.
